PH C/O TWO BIRDS TALKING
For the past year, I've slowly begun slotting food and places to eat on here and I think it's time to make it an official thing. A week ago, I went for some sunset drinks and mingled amongst the ladies from ACP mags on the rooftop of Paddington Inn. I sat there sipping "The Summer of Cider" in hopes of looking a little less flushed/awkward and a little more mingle-able.. and before you know it, I had downed my first, second and third glass of this Summer deliciousness and kept my eye on the waitress to make sure I wouldn't miss out on the re-fills. For anyone who embraces tipsy catch ups, good sangria or just another excuse to forget about work - you need to come here asap.
Sangrias I recommend:
Oxford Fizz: absolut elyx, cointreau, blackberry, cranberry & lemonade topped with passionfruit & fresh mint.
White Sangria: dry white wine, belvedere citrus, st germain elderflower liqueur, japanese plum liqueur topped with lemonade, fresh mint, cucumber & lime.
Drum roll.... The Summer of Cider (MY FAVE!): pink lady apple cider, stolen gold rum, raspberry, rhubarb & angostura bitters dressed with strawberries, mint and citrus.
ps. more food and drinking experiences to come.
