Beijing photo diary p.1

These Beijing photos are making me sentimental. Like hello, someone invent a teleporting machine already so I can be back there? This is just an introduction of my time in Beijing and a small portion of photographs. The time spent there was filled with family, laughter, cold aching feet, waking up to snowing mornings (how crazy is that- for those of you not in Sydney, it's a 0% chance to be waking up on snowing mornings or a sight of snow), eating some insanely great family home cooked meals, spending the day in hot springs while being surrounded by snow (actually such an awesome experience), doing all touristy things, and looking like a boy half the time. Apologies for not having any nice outfits (not really), but warmth was what it was about. I spent half the time there covered in layers. Beanies, mittens and ugg boots became my life. You have also probably noticed why there isn't any food in these photos- that's because the first few days, the sick bag was my best friend.
